Introduction

HAZWOPER 40-hour is required for workers that perform activities that expose them to hazardous substances. This course is designed for workers who are involved in clean-up, storage, disposal and treatment of hazardous substances. It covers topics such as hazardous material identification, health and safety concerns, spill response procedures, and protective equipment selection. Purpose of this course is to provide workers with the knowledge and skills to work safely and prevent harm to themselves and environment.
